Impossible to avoid making political statements at work
Virtually everything has become political
Thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 election, woke sports and Supreme Court decisions, it is now impossible to avoid making political statements at work.

Here is a list of topics and items that have become political over the last two and a half years.
American flag (and being proud to be an American) - This is probably the hardest to swallow as the flag represents our country and Americans should honor and be proud of it. Instead, if you wear an American flag pin, place a small flag on your work desk or simply seem proud to be an American, you will be labeled as a MAGA hat wearing Republican.
National anthem - Similar to the American flag, our national anthem has become political due to woke athletes insisting on kneeling during the song and in front of our flag. If during a water cooler conversation at work you say you don't watch football, baseball, [insert woke sport here], some will think you don't watch sports because you're a MAGA hat wearing Republican.
Sports - You didn't watch the Olympics?!? Your co-workers will think your political beliefs had something to do with you not watching a second of the Olympics.
Soft drinks - When Coca-Cola became a woke company, many on the right decided to switch to Pepsi products, so if you are seen drinking a Pepsi at work, you are making a political statement.
Masks - If a co-worker sees you in a local grocery store without a properly fitted mask, clearly you have made a political statement. Also, if you tell a co-worker that your two-year-old child doesn't wear a mask, this is a political statement because that child most likely hasn’t receive shot(s), so obviously you must be a MAGA hat wearing Republican.
Shots - In order to not be blocked on social media, let’s just say that if you don't get the shot you have made a political statement.
Social media - Speaking of social media, if you don't have a Facebook or Twitter account that means you must hate those social media giants and you must instead have a Truth Social, Gab or Gettr account.
Police - Sadly, if you "Back the Blue," you have made a political statement. Law enforcement officers should be respected and funded at the highest-requested levels. Ok, don't say that last sentence at work or you will be making a political statement!
Made in America - If you are concerned that a product you purchase at work or at home is made in China not America, you are making a political statement.
Abortion - If you support abortion (a.k.a. killing the unborn), you are free to live your life. If you believe all efforts must be made to protect and provide lives to the unborn, just watch your back.
Freedom - Unfortunately, something as American as freedom is totally political now. If you don't wear a mask, don't take your shots and don't lock yourself down when the CDC says you should, you are now thought of as unsophisticated and lacking compassion. Our entire country should be standing up in order to not lose more of our freedom. Instead, there are many Americans insisting that if you do not comply, you must lose all freedom.
