What’s next?

In the coming weeks, the Liberty Journal Substack link will be converting to a custom domain (libertyjournal.us). This change is made possible thanks to a handful of paid subscribers. Additionally, a portion of all paid annual subscriptions is donated to various conservative non-profit organizations. If you would like to upgrade your free account to a paid annual subscription, there is a 7-day free trial available.

Liberty Journal is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support our work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.

In the next paid subscriber-only article, I will relay the heartbreak I felt yesterday on the tennis court. You don’t want to miss the reason for my broken heart.

Quotes

Here are a couple quotes from the past week that had me shaking my head.

I knew these vaccines were not going to protect against infection. And I think we overplayed the vaccines. And it made people then worry that it’s not going to protect against severe disease and hospitalization.

Deborah Birx, former White House COVID-19 response coordinator

And so now we look to today, more and more people are getting closer to having a more normal life, vaccines are available. If you have not gotten vaccinated, please do. If you have not gotten boosted, please do. These are treatments that are going to keep you safe. And I think that's what matters here, is making sure that we continue to do the work. And the good thing is that the president, again, has been vaccinated and double boosted.

Karine Jean-Pierre, White House press secretary

So, one of our government’s key COVID-19 response officials knew all along that vaccines were not going to protect against infection and the White House press secretary essentially says that you can get closer to living a more normal life (meaning not totally normal?) as long as you enter the dangling carrot race called never-ending boosters.

Thank you for your time on this beautiful Sunday morning. Have a great week.

Sincerely,

Dutch Jenkins, head writer, Liberty Journal
