Twitter censors The Epoch Times and Pat Benatar censors herself
Since Thursday, July 28, Twitter has censored all content links posted by The Epoch Times. The popular news outlet has reportedly not received clarification on why its content is being labeled ‘malicious,’ ‘spammy’ and ‘violent.’
American Thought Leaders host, Jan Jekielek, believes the censoring may have been a result of his interview with sex trafficking survivor Eliza Bleu.
Twitter is blocking all links to @EpochTimes, including a story about a human trafficking survivor, and labeling them as ‘spammy’ and ‘unsafe.’ Twitter must explain itself for this outrageous act of censorship.
U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fla.)
Will Twitter be required to explain itself? Probably not until more Democrats are voted out of office.
The Epoch Times was founded in 2000 by Chinese Americans who fled communist China and sought to create an independent media outlet to bring uncensored and truthful information to the world.
Pat Benatar is still alive
In a likely attempt to make herself relevant, singer Pat Benatar recently announced that she would no longer perform “Hit Me With Your Best Shot.” Did you know that Benatar is alive and still performing music? Well, now you do thanks to her ridiculous reason for not singing her hit song.
Benatar says she won’t perform “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” in deference to the victims of the families of mass shootings.
Meanwhile, the song was inspired by a “weird therapy” that included punching pillows, according to “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” song writer, Eddie Schwartz.
