Biden's reckless behavior endangers family pet

In a video announcing a rebound case of COVID-19, President Joe Biden demonstrated reckless behavior by not wearing a mask near his dog.

Physician to the President, Dr. Kevin O’Connor announced in a memorandum yesterday that Biden would reinitiate “strict isolation procedures.”

Within less than six feet, President Biden speaks and spreads COVID-19 near his dog, Commander.

CDC Info About COVID-19 and Pets

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), COVID-19 can spread from people to animals during close contact. Pets can get serious illness from infection with the virus that causes COVID-19, but this is “extremely rare.”

If you are sick with COVID-19 (either suspected or confirmed by a test), you should avoid contact with your pets and other animals, just like you would with people.

Tips:

  • Do not put masks on pets; masks could harm your pet.

  • Do not wipe or bathe your pet with chemical disinfectants, alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, or other products, such as hand sanitizer, counter-cleaning wipes, or other industrial or surface cleaners. There is no evidence that the virus can spread to people from the skin, fur, or hair of pets. Talk to your veterinarian if you have questions about appropriate products for bathing or cleaning your pet.

More Recklessness

Dr. Marc Siegel, Fox News medical analyst and professor of medicine at New York University Langone Medical Center said it’s “not a good look for a president who talks about mandates. He has played too loose with this.” Siegel believes that Biden should have stayed in isolation longer after testing negative and prior to the rebound case of COVID-19.

Biden returned to work and removed his mask after five days and the CDC recommends wearing a mask around others for 10 days. How many people did he infect due to his decision not to adhere to CDC recommendations?

Note: Liberty Journal doesn’t care that President Biden hangs out with his dog during “strict isolation” or that he goes back to work when he’s feeling better. The point is that he’s not following the ridiculous rules and recommendations of his administration. All of this nonsense needs to end as soon as possible; unfortunately, this fall and winter is guaranteed to be an extra dose of insanity once new boosters are available.
